How I got rid of my agonizing neck pain

My story of how I got rid of my agonizing neck pain after years of pain. Years ago I was in a car accident, it was a head on collision which left me with painful whiplash. Problems that resulted from the car accident caused me a lot of pain. I developed chronic pain and I was in pain for years.

People who are unlucky to get it can understand how the pain can make life be so agonizing.

You may not think that neck pain is such a big deal but it doesn’t only affect your neck. Not only did I have horrible neck pain and migraines that resulted from the neck pain but my left arm was swollen and unusable too. Due to the whiplash, I developed a vertigo problem and wasn’t able to walk without help. I bad ringing in the ears, dizziness that caused nausea and constant exhaustion, I was always tired.

I tried almost everything to relive my neck pain.

My doctor didn’t recommend to have surgery because it wasn’t guaranteed to help and it could have gotten worse. For many years I had different types of therapies for my whiplash. I was treated with acupuncture, massage, spinal injections, an exercise program and pain medications. I also had gone to chiropractors which gave me temporary pain relief.  My pain continued even with pain medications while having treatments.

I was tired of being exhausted. I was living in pain every waking moment. I couldn’t imagine living my life this way forever.

The only time I could get pain relief was when I was asleep. So I slept to run away from my pain in my dream life. It was terrible that I had wasted so much of my life sleeping only to wake up to a nightmare life of pain. Ever since the accident I was never the same. What could I do? Just live with the pain? For years I did just that, until I got fed up with pain.

One day I decided to stop all of the treatments and stop wasting money. I looked for a neck pillow that could ease my pain.

I wanted to get rid of my neck pain without medications and treatments. I thought to myself what can I do to get rid of my neck pain for good? Where can I find a good neck pain relieving pillow? Which pillow is good for neck pain? Does a neck pillow help with neck pain? So many questions that had to be answered.

I bought every different neck pillow that I could find to help me with my pain.

I bought neck traction devices, cervical support pillows, orthopedic memory foam pillows, neck roll pillows, inflatable pillows and supportive neck braces. I bought everything from cheap too expensive but nothing helped me to get rid of my neck pain.

I couldn’t believe that there wasn’t a good neck pillow for sell!

How could that be in this day and age? That’s crazy, why was there no real update for a neck pillow? Everywhere I went I searched for a good supportive neck pillow. All I could find was the same thing. U shaped pillows that were too low for the head to get good support and was uncomfortable! So what was the problem with all of the neck pillows that were on the market? They were not supportive, too low for the head, not soft enough and not comfortable. I found that most memory foam pillows are made too hard in order to get support. While other neck pillows are too soft to provide support.

Desperate for a solution to help ease my pain.  My husband and I decided to create our own pillow. 

If I was in need of a neck pain relief pillow, then people around the world would be needing one too. We would just have to make a unique effective neck pillow that really works.Taking all of those points into consideration, I came up with the concept. It was so simple, in order to have good support you would need to have an inner support structure inside the pillow. That way you get great support even if you a have soft memory foam which is essential for great comfort. Create a pillow that had support and comfort all in one. It would have to be flexible enough to fit many size of necks yet be supportive.

The concept was thought of but the design still needed to be thought of. My husband who loved the concept had the perfect idea for the design. His design was unique and really fit the shape of the neck. He designed it to be used in up to 12 ways. Giving people the choice of different positions and support. The combination of the inner supportive structure and the unique pillow design made of a soft and light memory foam was a winning combination.
